Scott’s Thoughts
Wow. This past weekend was really crazy. My oldest son Connor and I flew to Las Vegas to run in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon. This was the first marathon either one of us had done. Connor has pulled the majority of orders for C1G over the past few years and has been a big reason for the ability to add so many new games to the site. Connor had been training for a few months while I’d been walking here and there. He was able to finish the half marathon in under 2:45 and I adjusted to a 10K after getting to mile 5 and realizing I couldn’t do another 8 miles but doing one more mile wouldn’t be too bad. We had a great time and this was a big accomplishment for him and he’s already planning on his next one.
We were able to get back into Utah mid Monday get some of the orders out from the weekend and then get the rest of them on Tuesday. I appreciate your patience with a slight delay in getting some of the weekend orders out.
This trip did push back our ability to get some of the new games we’ve been working on listed on the site. Our boxes of Disney’s Lorcana Into the Inklands are in our possession and we will be cracking packs and adding singles to the site near the end of this week.
We have a small stack of buylists that I need to go through and process. This should add a decent amount of inventory to the site.
Here are more things for the week:
Mega Man TCG Singles: The blue bomber is on the site! We’ve had boxes for this game on the site for a while but now have singles. I believe this is the last Decipher made game that we didn’t have singles for and now we do. There is a small stack of foils that I still need to add to the site, look for those soon.
Lorcana Into the Inklands – Look for singles to be added to the site around Friday this week if not sooner. We’ve got boxes, we need to crack them and get our singles up. Let’s all hope for some good pulls!
Pricing Updated – Transformers, Battlestar Galactica, WARS TCG, Rifts, Spycraft, and X-Men all saw updated pricing and buylist pricing for these games.
Star Trek 2E – Look for a large restock of Rares for this game by the end of the week.
Babylon 5 – Look for a large restock of Rares for this game by the end of this week/start of next.
Over the next two weeks, you’ll see a lot of changes to the site. We will be adding more games, more inventory, completely updating inventory to have all sets for related games, etc. We are also looking at a full site redesign that I think everyone will really like. We aren’t there yet but are getting closer.
