We always love seeing kind words in messages, orders, etc. I’ve enjoyed being a guest on the BoardMatt YouTube channel many times and have enjoyed all of our conversations. Matt is a friend and he provides great content for many different gaming communities. I’m always glad to help out our gaming friends and the many gaming communities we are part of.
Do you ever blink and realize an entire week has flown by? That’s been my reality lately. My son had a travel baseball event in Southern Utah, which meant a long weekend on the road. By the time we got back late Sunday, everyone in my family was feeling rough—except me. So, Monday was a mix of catching up on orders and playing nurse. My wife got hit the hardest, and let’s be real—when the mom of the house is down, everything else slows down too.
Between that and realizing just how much time travel baseball actually eats up (seriously, what have we signed up for?), I didn’t get as much done as I wanted. But I’m catching up!
What’s New at CategoryOneGames?
- Buy List Additions – I’ve got three big buy list packages to process, including one with multiple buy lists inside. Expect to see new Star Wars CCG and a variety of other games hitting the site this weekend.
- Pirates (WizKids) Update – I’m still working through a massive batch of Pirates CSG, but I should have everything ready to go by next week’s email. If you’ve been waiting on that, it’s coming!
- Card Images Added – We’ve been making big progress on adding images to the site. One of our team members has been dedicated to this full-time, and we’re getting close to wrapping up Adventure Time singles. More games will follow soon!
- Pricing Updates – We’ve been chipping away at a ton of pricing adjustments. You’ll probably notice some deals on your favorite games, so keep an eye out!
As for the Super Bowl, my game plan is multitasking—half watching, half working in a corner trying to catch up on everything, haha. If you’re watching too, hope your team wins (or at least that the snacks are good).
