Scott’s Thoughts
This school year has flown by. My kids have grown exponentially this past year. With a college Freshman studying finance, a junior in high school, and a seventh grader making the middle school transition, it has been a year of changes and growth. When people talk about Maycember, they are not joking. I feel like we have moved from sporting events to dances to dual sporting events to so on and so on. I’ll be excited once this school year is over.
I haven’t had much time to do much but work and things with my family. I was able to sneak away one Saturday morning to have a trade/sell group of comic book fans in the local area. That was really fun to talk to fellow collectors of older comics and pick up a few books I was looking for.
Thank You from CategoryOneGames. April was a great month and May is already off to a hot start. We’ve seen a load of new collections landing in our PO Box including two 90 pound boxes of World of Warcraft cards. Wow, moving that was….something, I’ll need to lay down for a bit and get a massage. Ouch!
Just about every game on the site saw some action this past week. Lord of the Rings, Overpower, Star Wars CCG, Star Wars TCG, and so on all saw restocks through buy lists and pieces of collections that landed on the site. Look for more restocks this next week. We will be finishing off May on a high note with a lot, and I mean a lot, of new items hitting in June!
