This week you’ll save 10% on all items with these game categories – Arcadia, Austin Powers, Axis and Allies, Babylon 5, and Battlestar Galactica.
To get the discount, head over to CategoryOneGames, add items to your cart from these categories, go to checkout, and enter the weekly codeword. You’ll see the discount apply as long as you only have items from these categories in your cart. Our system isn’t smart enough to handle any other items added and keep the discount in place. If you want to pick up items from other games, you can place a separate order for those and we will ship them out together and add any extra shipping to your account as store credit.

Scott’s Thoughts
We are finally getting to a few collections we have bought over the past few months. This includes some World of Warcraft, Star Wars CCG, Star Wars TCG, and Young Jedi. You’ll start to see the Star Wars items land on the site first. Most of these are just about ready to add. Along with this, we have a large number of buylists that we will be adding over the next few days.
Power Cardz
This week we added the Power Cardz category to the site. This is an early 90s superhero based game that released a Premiere set and a 2nd Edition of the Premiere set. The 2nd Edition included color highlights of key words to make it easier to determine stats on cards. The only expansion was a Spawn based set. The game was trying to build on the Image universe after the first set with two Wildstorm characters appearing in the Spawn set and the third set would have been based around Rob Liefeld’s Youngblood characters. There were a few Promo cards released for the third set in order to drive an increase in pre-orders but at that point, the game was dead and it never released.
We have singles for the game and are currently working on getting images uploaded and on the site.
C-23
Another Image comics based game by Jim Lee, this game was a new property he was trying to build that never took off. The game works with the Xena and Hercules games released around the same time by Wizards of the Coast. You can mix all three properties together and mix and match for deck building purposes. There are a few promos for the game that hold some value but the game is fairly cheap to collect and play.
Sailor Moon
We need more cards for this game. Currently, we only have a few promos on the site and are going to add each of these three new games to our buylist soon.
Shipping
Christmas and New Years are right around the corner. We will be shipping orders out all month and will only slow down for a short time around Christmas. If you are wanting to try to get orders to you before Christmas or as a present, please let us know and we will work you the best we can to make that happen.
