Man, May is almost over and things are going to calm down right…..right.
Where is Anakin?
Baseball season is almost over. My son’s team limped into the playoffs with a bad record and a hope for a quick exit. It’s been a rough year with a coach who has nuked the parent chat multiple times. Parents have pulled their players, etc. The bright spot is Blake has still played well and improved his hitting and throwing. He’s in 7th grade so he’s on the smaller side of 7th/8th grade teams. Next year he’ll have a better advantage.
Graduations are over and if my older son wasn’t going to France next month, it would probably be a much calmer time. Once he takes off in mid June, my house will be quieter and I’ll have a lot more time to dedicate to the business. You’ll see a lot of new items hitting the site soon.
That leads us to all the great new things this week:
Star Wars CCG – A large Japanese Hoth box came in with 12 Dark Side R1s and Commander Luke Skywalker. 7 of those R1s sold instantly to collectors around the world looking to finish their sets. It’s one of the better feelings knowing we helped people finish off one of the hardest sets to collect. I filmed the video and will have it up on our YouTube channel this Friday.
Star Trek CCG – We’ve had a lot of re-stocks across all aspects of the game including many C/UC that sell out quickly. There is also a new Star Trek CCG 1E expansion set releasing on Friday from the Continuing Committee. Be on the lookout for that.
We’ve got a big team-up about to go down with a store in Arizona. They sent us a mystery box of cards and I’m going to film opening it. I’ll be filming opening the box and I’m excited to see what sort of goodies they included for us. Look for this video to be out next week.
I’ve got a lot more coming to the site very soon. Look for a lot of image cleanup on the site as well as pricing updates, new games, and much more.
