Scott’s Thoughts
Last week was a whirlwind of activity at CategoryOneGames. We were excited to add new cards from WWE Raw Deal, Star Wars CCG, and Lord of the Rings to our inventory and get them shipped out to you. But then, Sunday night threw us a curveball—my laptop decided to go out with a blue screen.
On Monday, I managed to get it running long enough to print a few orders and update some numbers, but soon after, it would crash and reset repeatedly. I tried pulling orders and printing labels using our backup laptops, but they’re mainly set up for basic tasks and don’t have our full systems installed.
I took the laptop to PC Laptops in American Fork, Utah, where they worked hard to reset it. Unfortunately, it only stayed functional for about three hours before the blue screen returned. This setback has cost us nearly a full day of work, and I truly appreciate your patience as I’ve been working around these issues to get orders out, process refunds, respond to emails, and more.
I’ve ordered a new laptop that will arrive on Thursday. As you know, setting up a new system takes time, but I’m hopeful that we’ll be back on track and able to fulfill all remaining orders by tomorrow. Once our computer issues are fully resolved, you can look forward to seeing new items added to the site.
There’s a massive box of Lord of the Rings buy lists sitting in my office right now, waiting to be graded and added to the site. This is going to be a huge update, so keep an eye out for these new additions, which should start appearing this coming weekend.

We’ve just added plenty of new L5R cards to the site, including Rares and Promos from various eras of the game. If you’re a fan, now is a great time to check out what’s available.
VS System
Last week, we received around five buy lists of VS System cards that we were previously out of, and we now have a deep stock. Be sure to browse through our updated inventory to find some great additions to your collection.
